  • Engaged employers from diverse industries: IT companies, roofers, book authors, accounting firms, large-scale manufacturers, and many more.
  • Gathered feedback from 100s of employers: across sectors to understand where hiring was breaking down.
  • Interviewed 100+ students and jobseekers: University students seeking their first role, part-time job hunters, and experienced professionals making career changes.
  • Spoke with HR professionals and industry experts to get both sides of the hiring equation.
What we discovered was clear: the hiring process was broken on both sides. Candidates couldn't present themselves effectively, and employers were overwhelmed with inefficient tools.
How It Started
A Simple Observation in the UK

Our journey began in the UK with a simple observation. In the UK, there are top universities, a high quality of education, too many capable people, but still struggling to get hired.

We noticed the majority of rejections were happening at the CV screening stage, before candidates ever had a chance to speak with an employer.
